'And Soon the Darkness'... Will Get Hotter!
Hot girls + horror movies = good time. It’s no secret and hot girls and horror movie directors have been capitalizing on this win-win formula for ages. News hits us today from HollywoodReporter.com that hot girls--Odette Yustman (The Unborn, Cloverfield) and Amber Heard (Pineapple Express, Ward 19)—were just added on to the cast of a remake of the 1970 British thriller, And Soon the Darkness, which Heard will also produce.
While the original film was set in France about the vulnerabilities of a “stranger in a strange land”, the redux is set in Argentina and “tells the story of two American girls on a bike-riding trip in a remote part of the country. When one of them goes missing, the other must find her before darkness falls and her worst fears are realized.”
Let’s just hope the age-old hot-girl + horror movie math adds up and or our worst fears won’t will be realized…
