Wondercon 2009: Common Talks 'Green Lantern'
The con may be over, but the coverage keeps coming... Our buddies over at G4 just tipped us off to a very cool interview that their comic-book queen Blair Butler did on her Fresh Ink podcast with music and film star Common. While doing interviews about his role in the upcoming Terminator Salvation, Common spoke about his role in director George Miller's aborted Justice League movie, in which he almost played Green Lantern John Stewart. Of course, if the Justice League project is ever picked up again, we'd like to think Mr. C is a frontrunner for the role. (And then there's that solo Hal Jordan Green Lantern project that's right around the corner. If that proves successful, could we see Common as Stewart in a sequel?)
