August 28th Sequel Battle: 'FD4-3D' vs 'H2'
Looks like the fourth installment of the Final Destination franchise is on its own kind of “Death Trip”! According to BoxOfficeMojo.com, the theatrical release date for Final Destination: Death Trip 3D has been rescheduled from August 14th 2009 to August 28th 2009. If you’ve been keeping up you’ll notice that there’s something familiar about that date. No? Oh, well it’s just the theatrical release date of Rob Zombies anticipated Halloween 2007 sequel H2! What’s the solution? A) Final Destination: Death Trip 3D moves their release date yet again, possibly to September to face off with Jennifer’s Body or B) H2 will do what we’ve been saying it should do all along and give Saw VI a run for its money this Halloween!
As of now, both Final Destination: Death Wish 3D and H2 hit theaters on August 28th 2009. Only one is expected to break box office records. Is it FD4?
