Depp's 'Dark Shadows' Still a Go!
MTVMoviesBlog is reporting that Johnny Depp's production company Infinitum-Nihil says Depp is still onboard to play dreamy vampire Barnabas Collins in a big-screen adaptation of Dark Shadows -- producer Dan Curtis' supernatural soap opera, which set your mom's, and grandmom's, pulses racing and hearts fluttering back in the '60s. "All I can say is that one is very active," says Sam Sarkar, Infinitum's director of development. "The studio will be making some announcements regarding it pretty soon. Very soon, probably."
Regarding whether or not Depp's frequent collaborator Tim Burton will direct, Sarkar says, "I can neither confirm nor deny that," he said. "But I know it's out there in the ether."
