Gotta’ have faith, folks! [Now re-read that while screaming your lungs out wearing a backwards red baseball cap…and leave out the “folks”] Feel like a psycho, serial killer, Satan-worshipper yet? Well, we assume that’s how Fred Durst, Limp Bizkit frontman got to that conclusion also. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the soul-patch sporting rocker is gearing up to direct a horror flick—his third directorial effort—titled Psycho Killer written by Andrew Kevin Walker, the man responsible for such horror favorites as SEVEN, Sleepy Hollow and the upcoming The Wolfman.
Once THR edited out the periodic “NOOKIE” outbursts from Durst, here’s what the rocker-turned-director had to say…
“It's not a throwaway slasher genre film. It's a very smart, really compelling story about a serial killer on a mission for Satan. It's really interesting and the way it's written - it's so unique. Andy is an incredible writer. It looks like we're going to go into pre-production around August.” Looks like Dee Snider's Strangeland 2 may have some competition!
