Horror comics come and horror comics go, but the best of the genre can really keep its readers at the edge of their seats. The Walking Dead's been going strong for years now, and we've seen some other quality indies (like Impaler) come along recently. Now we're hoping that IDW's newest horror comic, The Veil, can induce its own share of shivers!
Due out in June, The Veil focuses on a woman named Chris Lune who's a private eye with a bevy of undead customers. She can see through the veil between our world and the world of the dead. And when money's short, she's off to her old hometown where terrible secrets await. Sounds decent! The comic's written by El Torres with artwork by Gabriel Hernandez (who illustrated Clive Barker's The Thief of Always series). What do you guys think? Like the artwork? Think the concept's got enough momentum to make this a Hack/Slash-level hit?
