Rondo Awards Announced!
This week the 7th Annual Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Award winners were announced. Hatton, known for his gorilla-like physique and his distinct mug, was a cult star of vintage Hollywood genre films, and the awards that bear his name are, according to the official Rondo Award website, "an annual celebration of the vintage monsters who sparked almost a century of horror films and sequels." The awards are organzied by the Classic Horror Film Board, whose worldwide online survey "is the largest in the genre and drew a record 2,932 emailed votes."
