Ride the 'Curve' With 'Mutant Chronicles' Driver Simon Hunter
Variety.com is reporting that Simon Hunter (Mutant Chronicles) is gearing up for Curve, ‘an indie thriller about a young woman’s struggle to survive after she takes a detour in the New York City backwoods and finds herself at the mercy of a psychopathic killer’. We can’t help but wonder if they are referring to Albany. Simon Hunter is definitely the man to watch out for with The Mutant Chronicles (starring Thomas Jane and Ron Perlman) currently airing on VOD and hitting limited theaters April 24th. Hunter is quickly gaining the watchful eyes of genre fans (rightfully so) and it’s evident that Curve may be his ticket to becoming a celebrated genre director. Eva Mendes was originally rumored to star in Curve but no official casting has been announced. Hunter’s Curve should begin production October 2009.
