Japanese Fan Site Casts Light on 'Dark Shadows' Release Date!
The Japanese love their Tim Burton/Johnny Depp sandwiches almost as much as we do. So it comes as no surprise that on the Japanese Tim Burton fan site (go figure) they’ve posted the Japanese Warner Bros. press schedule which includes Dark Shadows as listed for a release in winter 2010! While this may not confirm a release date for Dark Shadows here in the states, it does give us an inkling on where we’re headed on this long, dark, Burton and Depp covered road.
Dark Shadows stars Johnny Depp in his eighth collaboration with director Tim Burton as Barnabas Collins and is based on the TV series about Collins, a vampire, and his run-ins with monsters, ghosts, werewolves and other creatures of the night. Production is slated to begin in Fall 2009 and according to this Japanese press schedule, it should hit theaters in winter 2010!
