The Bane of Batman's Existence!
After rising to infamy for breaking Batman’s spine, then fading into obscurity (much like Superman’s killer Doomsday…coincidence?), it looks like Bane’s been pulled out of the mothballs for Eidos/Rocksteady’s upcoming Batman: Arkham Asylum, as you can see in the video after the jump!
Looking notedly more luchador-y and a helluva lot bigger than the comics, it looks like the once-brilliant criminal mastermind has been reduced to a ‘roided pawn in the Joker’s plan against Batman. Between his appearance and the game’s voice cast lifted right out of the animated series, I feel like I’m in 8th grade again! Well, minus the puberty.
Batman: Arkham Asylum is due June 23 for PS3, Xbox 360, and Windows
