Minka Kelly Moves In! Casting News From 'The Roomate'!
I’m guessing when Minka Kelly leaves her underwear lying around the apartment her roommates aren’t going to particularly mind—if said roommates are A) intending to sell those dirty duds on eBay, B) are a pack of salivating horror dudes that wouldn’t mind if Kelly paid her rent in kisses or C) her roommate is completely and dangerously obsessed with her. Unfortunately for Kelly (and you salivating horror dudes) the answer is C. In The Roomate, Kelly will play a college freshman Sara who is the object of her new roommate Rebecca’s (Leighton Meester) deadly obsession, according to HollywoodReporter.com. Also joining the cast is Aly Michalka (Bandslam), who will play an outgoing dorm-mate determined to give Sara a social life, Matt Lanter (Sorority Row) as Sara’s ex-boyfriend while Cam Gigandet will play Sara’s current boyfriend (lucky).
