The Strange Cast of 'Jekyll and Hyde'

Robert Louis Stevenson’s The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde has faced an onslaught of adaptations since its release in 1886. But this adaptation from Abel Ferrara is quite possibly the strangest case WE’VE ever encountered—well, ‘cept for Dr. Jekyll and Ms. Hyde that is. Not to be confused with the fellow whacko adaptation titled Jekyll, starring Keanu Reeves (we told you about here)— the strange case stars Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson (you know, that fellow that got shot nine times and lived) and Forest Whitaker (Where the Wild Things Are). No word on whether or not Jackson will sport his infamous bullet-proof vest for the role.

Jekyll and Hyde is scheduled to begin shooting in late summer, according to Variety.com.
