Updated: 'Trick 'R Treat' Release Plans Announced + Graphic Novel Images
News came out of Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors that Michael Dougherty's (X2, Superman Returns) much anticipated horror film Trick 'R Treat will FINALLY see the light of day. But it's not just details of a DVD/Blu-ray release as we suspected, you'll finally have the chance to check out Trick 'R Treat on the big screen, hit the jump for full details and a sneak peak at the graphic novel.
While an official date has yet to be announced, according to Fango, Trick 'R Treat (along with a tie in graphic novel) WILL be released on DVD/Blu-ray this Oct and we can expect to see the soundtrack hit shelves this Sept.
Confirmed theatrical screenings include:

-TORONTO AFTER DARK, Toronto, Canada August 14-21
-MORBIDO FEST, Mexico City, Mexico (MySpace)
-FANTASY FILM FESTIVAL - Berlin, Hamburg, Koln, Frankfurt, Nuremberg, Stuggart, and Munich Germany - August 18-September 9, 2009
-FANTASTIC FEST, Austin Texas, September 24-October 1
-SCREAMFEST, Los Angeles, California - October 16-25
