SDCC 2009: First 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' Footage Screened
Footage from Platinum Dunes A Nightmare on Elm Street reboot just played in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con. The footage showed Jackie Earle Haley pre burn running from an angry mob of parents, shouting that he 'hasn't done anything' - he's set on fire, tearing off his jacket to reveal his trademark sweater.
It also appears as if Tina's death is similar to that in the original (lifted to the walls and ceiling). Lots of quick bits referring to the original; little girls jump rope, person in a body bag et al. At this point, I'm definitely intrigued.
