Bryce Dallas Howard Cast in 'Twilight: Eclipse'
It was announced today that Bryce Dallas Howard (Terminator Salvation) will be replacing Rachelle Lefevre as Victoria in the next installment of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. While Lefevre starred as the character Victoria in both Twilight and New Moon, Summit is placing the blame on 'scheduling conflicts.' Director David Slade (Hard Candy, 30 Days of Night) will begin shooting Eclipse this August in Vancouver with a planned theatrical release date of June 30th 2010. Variety.com reports Summit as saying "We are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise, Rachelle brought Victoria to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role."
