'Orphan,' 'The Final Destination,' 'Piranha 3D' Date Changes & Additions
First up we have 3 confirmed DVD release dates from Warner Home Video. Michael Dougherty's delayed, delayed, delayed Trick 'r Treat will be released on Oct 6th, after a brief theatrical run. I still haven't seen this one but I'm literally dying to. So unless you want me dead, someone needs to get me in front of that flick ASAP. Next up is Jaume Collet-Serra's incredibly effective Orphan (which is still enjoying a run in theaters) which will be released on October 27th. Finally, WB has already set a home video date for The Final Destination, which hasn't even been released in theaters yet! See The Final Destination in theaters on August 28th and/or on home video Dec 22.
Lastly (but most certainly not leastly), word came in via our friends at Shock Till You Drop that Alex Aja's killer fish on spring break flick Piranha 3D has been pushed from March 19th to April 16th (which BTW, is looking to be a horror heavy month now with A Nightmare on Elm Street opening two weeks later).
