Bits 'n Pieces: 'Mother’s Day' Casting, 'Faust' Rises and Haunted Songs

Variety is reporting that Ju-On's Takashi Shimizu will direct an as of yet untitled film about 'a haunted song that drives its listeners to suicide.' Shimizu's The Shock Labyrinth, Japan's first live action 3-D film is set to be released this October.
Faust Will Rise Again
According to Variety, German director Oskar Roehler will direct a new film based on the classic 'deal with the devil' tale Faust. So far the only casting that has taken place is actor Moritz Bleibtreu who is set to play Mephisto.
