Italian metal combo Daemonia, known to headbangers and old-school horror fans alike as the band formed in the late '90s by Claudio Simonetti – former member of legendary prog-rock group Goblin and frequent film composer for Dario Argento – appear onscreen as themselves in the gory, sexed-up thriller Come una Crisalide (Like a Chrysalis). The explicit theatrical trailer is online this week, and you can see it below the jump, but bear in mind this one is totally NSFW (see it before it's taken down), so don't say we didn't warn you...

Very little in English has been posted yet on the sadistic serial killer flick directed by Luigi Pastore, but judging by the trailer itself, the film looks like a wet one, thanks to some makeup effects from renowned artist Sergio Stivaletti – who has worked on most of Argento's classics, as well as those of Lamberto Bava (Demons) and Michele Soavi (Dellamorte Dellamore, a.k.a. Cemetery Man).

Ironically (and sadly) Argento did not actually employ Claudio's musical talents for his new US/European co-production Giallo, but Simonetti did contribute music to Come una Crisalide in collaboration with Art Vision.

Look for Daemonia performing in the trailer below, in between copious amounts of blood and breasts...
