Friday the 13th Rumors = NOT TRUE
'News' (ahem) broke this weekend that UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia was currently currently shooting a sequel to the Platinum Dunes Friday the 13th remake in Boston and that he (insert laugh track here) was playing Jason Vorehees. Derek Mears played the masked maniac in the first flick and WILL play Jason in the second, if it’s indeed greenlit that is. Platinum Dunes Producer Brad Fuller updated his Twitter feed to lay this rumor to rest. Hit the jump to see what he had to say. And shame on YAHOO for posting this rumor as well.
