Check out a full list of theaters here. And don't forget to read our review of Paranormal Activity.

Updated: 9/27: Paranormal Activity Director Oren Peli has just created a YouTube video thanking fans for coming out to support the film when it premiered Thursday night, and explaining how you can get it to play in your location. Check it out below.

Updated 9/24: There's a fast, convenient way for you to demand that Paranormal Activity play in your area. Just go to www.eventful.com/ParanormalActivity and click on the city or location that you live in. If the demand is high enough, the film will play in your theatre. So where Paranormal Activity plays is up to you!

Paranormal Activity – the upcoming indie chiller about a young couple terrorized by a demon – is one of the scariest films I've ever seen in a theater. It's so scary in fact that we want to make sure as many of you get frightened by it as possible. That's why we're hosting not one but two special screenings of the film, in conjunction with Fantastic Fest, on September 24th, next Thursday night, at 11:59 PM (one minute shy of midnight). We'll be heading to The Castro in San Francisco and Neptune in Seattle, and we're inviting you to go – for free.

Just RSVP at the official Paranormal Activity San Franciso and Seattle sites, and we'll see you at the theaters, with some very cool FEARnet swag to give away. And like the poster says, don't see it alone – register a friend and bring someone to grab hold of. But remember that each guest who attends must have their own RSVP to be admitted. And no one under the age of 17 will be admitted.

If you don't live in San Fran or Seattle, don't despair – you can still catch Paranormal in one of the other cities in which it will play that night. In fact, our friends at Bloody DisgustingShock till You Drop and Dread Central are hosting screenings in Los Angeles, New York and Boston, respectively. So check out their sites for more info. And check out the official Paranormal Activity website for a complete list of all cities is which these special Fantastic Fest screenings will take place (and in which the film will open on September 25th). RSVP now, before these screenings fill up!

Paranormal Activity not playing in your area? DEMAND IT! Bring it to your city by visiting ParanormalMovie.com.
