Weekend numbers for Jennifer's Body place it in 5th with about 6.8M.

Friday Box office estimates are in and from the looks of it, neither Megan Fox nor the promise of seeing 'Jennifer's Body' could bring in an audience. It's estimated that Jennifer's Body, the only notable genre release this weekend took in an estimated 2.8M on Friday which will most likely place it at about 7-8M for the weekend...if they're lucky. Looks like Fox and Diablo Cody were no match for Damon's The Informant! or kid flick Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
Kind of depressing, especially after the genre was knocked down just last weekend when both Whiteout and Sorority Row underperformed at the box office. Next weekend...Pandorum.
