New Found Glory

Phobia Friday: Necrophobia - Fear of death or dead things.

The hysterical new video for Don't Let Her Pull You Down – the new single from pop-punk combo New Found Glory – pits those cheerful fellows against hordes of equally perky zombie cheerleaders, cleaver-wielding zombie nurses, athletic zombie brides and coffin-bound zombie schoolgirls (all with remarkably well-conditioned derrières, considering their decayed condition) in a George Romero/Lucio Fulci/Sam Raimi mashup that throws in chainsaws, lasers and a dash of kung fu for good measure.

Whether you agree with the band's mantra of :Pop-Punk Is Not Dead," there's a lot of stuff you're gonna love in this video... so jump on through, check it out and let us know what you think!

This zombie mini-epic was directed by Meiert Avis, whose credits include Bruce Springsteen and U2, and is one of those movie-within-a-movie kinda deals in which a bickering couple watch a video of the band battling armies of scantily-clad zombie chicks (who ultimately take over the song themselves), only to discover that their little cabin is smack-dab in the middle of Evil Dead territory.

The single for Don't Let Her Pull You Down will soon be packaged in a limited-edition 7-inch vinyl disc, paired with Japanese b-side I'm The Fool, and will be available soon through Kings Road, as well as on the band's new tour.

Now then, check out those sweet zombie asses right here!
