Weekend Box Office - 'Paranormal' Still on Top
According to early box office estimates at Deadline Hollywood, Paranormal Activity's expansion to nearly 800 screens will likely place Paramount’s sleeper hit well over 10M for the weekend, prob closer to 20M by the time all is said and done and the #3 spot for the weekend. Sony's The Stepfather didn't fare quite as well, pulling in an estimated 4.3M Friday with a likely weekend haul at just about 10M and the #5 spot by Monday AM.
Where the Wild Things Are will claim the #1 spot, while Law Abiding Citizen looks to take the #2 spot. We'll have definitive numbers for you when they become available. Next weekend...SAW VI
