'The Host 2' Tie-In Video Game
In an odd bit of news, it seems that not even Asia is able to resist the urge to create tie-in games to release alongside their films, with the announcement that the mysterious sequel to Bong Joon-Ho’s monster movie The Host (titled The Host 2, natch) will have a video game released alongside the film.
News from TwitchFilm.net tells us that much like the movie whose title and themes it shares, very little is known about the game, except that it is being developed by Queens Soft to be released on multiple platforms, including PC, mobile, and 'consoles.' Exactly what consoles remain to be seen, although the usual Xbox 360/PS3 combo seems the most likely. The Host 2 has a tentative release of 2011.
