Gothminister Premiere Video for 'Freak'
Norwegian gothic electro-metallers Gothminister have recently unveiled the new video for Freak, the latest single from their third studio album Happiness in Darkness. The requisite bats, crosses and puffy shirts make their appearance, but hey, if you're into seriously cute goth chicks, then this vid's for you. Check it out below the jump!
One of the most popular Gothic bands in Europe, Gothminister hasn't yet grown beyond a solid cult following in the US, but their profile continues to expand along with the scope of their production values. Directed by Daniel William Bones (who has also shot promos for Norwegian black metal outfit Susperia), the video for Freak takes a more glamorous and melancholy turn than previous video Darkside (which we posted on these pages last winter)... but as with their previous video effort, the video wisely puts the focus on an adorable goth Kewpie-doll, who's just looking for love in a world where there's just too much damn sunlight.
