'Darksiders' Headed for Hollywood?
Hollywood is still chomping at the bit for hot new video game properties, this time setting their sights on the freshly-released Darksiders. In a phone interview with VG247, Vigil Games’ creative director and comic book powerhouse Joe Madureira confirmed that Tinseltown has been sniffing around the new property.
“We’ve gotten some interest from Hollywood, we’ve talked about doing a comic series,” said Madureira. The comic series seems like an absolute gimmie given Madureira’s pedigree, penciling everything from Deadpool to The Ultimates.
Darksiders tells the story of War, one of the Four Horsemen, who must clear his name after accidentally unleashing the Apocalypse upon Earth. How one “accidentally” unleashes the end of days remains to be seen. Be sure to check back soon for our full review of Darksiders!
