'Mother' Knows Best
Joon-ho Bong, the director of The Host, is back with his follow-up film, Mother. And if the advance word from Cannes is any indication, it's a winner. I personally found The Host a tad over-the-top for the serious dramatic thriller it was trying to be (and, yes, I know I'm in the minority with this opinion), but the trailer for Mother looks like its director is striking the perfect tone this time around, with a tale about a, well, a mother, who's out to clear her son's name of a murder he didn't commit.
