The polls are closed, the ballots have been counted and we're ready to declare the winner of our two week-long competition. Find out who got the lion's wolf's share of the vote after the jump...

An American Werewolf in London

Congratulations David Kessler of An American Werewolf in London!

It's hard to argue with this pick. Actor David Naughton's portrayal of a backpacker struggling with an undead best friend and a bad case of Lon Chaney's Disease is not just a classic in the werewolf genre but a great performance in a great film, regardless of genre.

Kessler steamrolled Laurie, played by Anna Paquin in Trick 'r Treat, 59% to 41%. On his way to the championship, he toppled the werewolves from Wolf, The Howling and Dog Soldiers.
