Ironbound, the widely-acclaimed 25th anniversary release from veteran metallers Overkill, is performing very well in its first week, hitting 168 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums list. This marks the band's highest chart ranking since W.F.O., which was released nearly 16 years ago. It's no surprise, really, if you've heard the mercilessly brutal tracks housed within – if you're even slightly interested in classic '80s-era thrash, Ironbound should be on your must-own list for the new decade. We've got more details on the band's “Killfest 2010” signature tour below... so hit the jump, O ye faithful!

As I mentioned in our recent interview with Overkill bassist D.D. Verni – a core member of band since the early '80s, along with vocalist Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth – the month-long US run will kick off April 1st after the band completes a series of European venues with the support of Suicidal Angels, Savage Messiah and Cripper. The American tour will feature high-profile guests like Vader, God Dethroned, Warbringer, Evile and Woe of Tyrants – and will conclude with a final NYC blowout show on May 1st in Times Square's Nokia Theater.

Be sure to check out the Overkill website for the full itinerary and ticket info... but first, watch the boys go to work in the video for their new single Bring Me the Night!
