UPDATED: Weekend Box Office: 'Shutter Island' and 'The Crazies'
Estimates for the weekend box office are in. Hit the jump to see where Shutter Island and The Crazies wound up.
According to Box Office Mojo Shutter Island took in an estimated 22M for a two week grand total of just over 75M. The Crazies landed just behind Kevin Smith's Cop Out in third place with an estimated 16.5M. Not bad for a horror flick that cost about 20M to produce, although if history has tought us anything, a steep drop in week 2 is inevitable. Check back on Monday for actuals.
