The Dead continue to look better... After last week's annoucement that Sarah Wayne Callies has joined the cast of Frank Darabont's AMC TV adaptation of Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead, we're receiving news that another lovely lady has signed on to the show. Hit the jump for more.

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Laurie Holden -- known to genre fans for her roles in The Mist (as well as several other Darabont films), The X-Files and Silent Hill -- will play Andrea, "a key member of the survivor group who has a proficiency with a sniper rifle and falls for a man twice her age." Holden is the second Mist veteran to be cast in Walking Dead, after Jeffrey DeMunn.

(THR also reports that newcomer Steven Yeun has joined the cast as Glenn.)
