UPDATED: It's 'Scream 4' for Lauren Graham
There are two kinds of people in the world -- those who know Lauren Graham from Gilmore Girls and those who know her from Bad Santa. If, like me, you're in the the latter camp; and the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Graham is the sight of her straddling a filthy, drunk department-store Santa Claus played by Billy Bob Thornton -- chanting "Fuck me, Santa" over and over like it's some sort of deranged mantra -- you'll be delighted to know that Graham is once more getting down with her bad self. The actress has apparently signed on to star in director Wes Craven and writer Kevin Williamson's Scream 4. More after the jump.
Our good buddy Scara over at Ghouls on Film tipped us off to this bit of casting news.
"A source close to the production," says the macabre minx, "tells me that Lauren Graham, known to many as Lorelai Gilmore, has signed on to the film. You didn't know I have sources? Oh but I do! And that's really all they've told me. If I'm not mistaken, this is her first horror role. Any thoughts on who she might be playing? A mom, but maybe a murderous one? I vote no! I want to see her as a full-on slasher queen!"
What do you think, folks? Will Graham wind up a killer? If so, does she have what it takes to play a convincing one?

Scara just updated her blog with this info: "If I’m not mistaken, this is not her first horror role. She was girlfriend to Josh Brolin in 'Nightwatch.'"
