3D POV Horror -- Are Too Many Acronyms a Bad Idea?

So here is a new one: a Sacramento studio is working on a POV horror movie.  In 3D.  Yep.  If Cloverfield and Paranormal Activity didn't make you dizzy enough, maybe watching something like that in 3D will!   According to the article in the Sacramento Bee, the film is called No Trace, about "a group of researchers [who] investigate an anomaly in a national forest and come to find out there's a monster there."  Oh, it gets worse.  Hit the jump to find out exactly how much worse.

Apparently, the producers/crew/studio owner/whoever has figured out a way to take massive 3D cameras and shrink them down enough to attach to hats atop the actors' heads.  The script is by a guy named Chad Cruchley, a Sacramento real estate agent whose movie experience, as far as I can tell, is paying $13 to see one at his local cineplex.

Filming begins this December. I am eagerly awaiting this trainwreck.
