'Evil Dead' on the iPhone is Adorably Gruesome
The quality of the video games based off of the Evil Dead franchise has been a mixed bag, with only one (Evil Dead: Regeneration) really hitting its marks in both tone and gameplay. I’m not sure how it’s going to play, but the upcoming Evil Dead game for the iPhone certainly looks…cute? Check out the surprising trailer after the break!
I don’t have words to express just what I’m feeling right now, but the fact that they made a note-for-note riff on the movie’s trailer, tree rape and all, using weird chibi-style characters implies both an immense amount of respect for the series as well as the enormous balls to make light of one of horror’s most sacred cows.
