Oscar Nominations for 'Black Swan', 'The Wolfman' & More!
Nominations for the 83rd annual Academy Awards were announced this morning with noms going to genre fare like Black Swan, The Wolfman and the darkly satirical Dogtooth. Details below.
The King's Speech may have led with overall nominations (12 total), but Black Swan led the way for genre noms with a total of 5 including Best Picture, Best Director (Aronofsky), Actress (Natalie Portman) and Film Editing. The Wolfman was nominated for Best Makeup (up against The Way Back & Barney's Version) while Yorgos Lanthimos' Dogtooth took a nomination for Best Foreign Language Film.
