NBC's 'The Office' Meets Argento's 'Suspiria'

Horror hit primetime in a BIG way last night when NBC's The Office not only made reference to The Shining and Rosemary's Baby, but also Dario Argento's Suspiria and Richard Stanley's sci-fi horror flick Hardware (which was compared to WALL-E). Check out the full episode below.

One of the running gags through last night's episode of The Office found Gabe and Erin battling it out over a game of mobile Scrabble for control of movie night. Gabe just wanted to watch horror movies, including Suspiria, which he referred to as a 'film that 'pushes all the boundaries, all your preconceived notions about what horror can be come crashing down'. At the tail end of the episode, he holds up a copy of Severin Films DVD release of Richard Stanley's Hardware, citing it as a compromise since Erin really wants to watch WALL-E.
