First 'Walking Dead' Game Screenshot Looks So Good, It’s Scary
I'm not one to get all worked up over graphics: hell, I'll still bust out my old Game Boy (the giant gray one with the green-and-black screen!) if the mood strikes me. However, I would have to say that the first screenshot for Telltale Games' upcoming game based off of The Walking Dead has me slobbering like a ghoul in a funeral home. Check it out after the break.
MTV Multiplayer released the screenshot, featuring the game's new protagonists Lee and Clementine, and the art style on display is absolutely stunning. Bless Telltale for basically telling photorealism to go kick rocks and opting instead for a hand-drawn style that captures the grittiness of the long-running comic series (are those hand-drawn textures?) while still offering up a slew of rich colors to appeal to the mainstream majority. It's pretty frigging sexy, if you ask me.
