'Class3' Game Footage Shows the Slower Side of the Zombie Apocalypse
We've heard virtually nothing of Class3, the proposed zombie MMO from developer Undead Labs, except that it's a zombie MMO. Oh, and that it's for Xbox Live. Hey, when I say "we've heard virtually nothing," I mean it! However, the developer has given us a tiny taste of the game world in action. Check out the first footage after the break.
The first bit of in-game footage (the developer calls it a "motion screenshot") may not have a lot of action going on (or the zombie apocalypse is not as awful as everyone makes it out to be), but it shows the beautiful, Cryengine 3 fueled graphics and a dynamic day/night cycle. Bonus points for making the setting seem to be much more in line with Anytown, USA than a sprawling urban center. As someone who was raised in a small New England town, this sort of setting is far freakier than a dead metropolis.
