Uwe Boll’s Next Video Game Movie is a 'Zombie Massacre'
Uwe Boll, perpetrator of such cinematic crimes against gaming as Bloodrayne: The Third Reich and Alone in the Dark has thrown his hat into the video game adaptation ring yet again, this time as a producer. The game he's choosing to mangle this time? Zombie Massacre…wait, what the hell is Zombie Massacre? Find out after the break.
The news from our pals at Bloody Disgusting is that Zombie Massacre will be produced by Boll but directed by Marco Ristori and Luca Boni, who previously worked with Boll on the zombie film Eaters.
However, that still leaves the question: just what the hell is Zombie Massacre? Well, Zombie Massacre is an obscure 1998 game for the Amiga computer that was released in response to the DOOM craze of the mid-nineties. Judging by the game footage below, it looks like Boll is really scraping the bottom of the barrel with this one…
