Exclusive: 'Secret Circle' Star Brittany Robertson Names Her 5 Favorite Witches
As most Vampire Diaries fans now know, Kevin Williamson's adaptation of another supernatural novel from author L.J. Smith, The Secret Circle, premieres on the CW on September 15th. I recently had the opportunity to go one-on-one with Circle star Brittany Robertson in an interview that I'll have up on FEARnet soon. In the meantime, I thought I'd share with you a snippet from my conversation with Robertson, in which she shares her five favorite witches from TV and film. Fittingly enough, since Robertson is the heroine of The Secret Circle (Cassie Blake, a sixteen-year-old witch who's just discovered her powers), most of her picks are good witches, something she attributes to being scarred by the The Wizard of Oz as a child – "The Wizard of Oz scared me," she says, "I was too young when I watched it. I think she was fun. 4.) Then I liked Phoebe on Charmed. So Phoebe would be number four. 5.) You know who was really good in The Craft? Fairuza Balk's character, Nancy."
