Michael C. Hall looks to be headed for Broadway. No, his murderous alter-ego Dexter hasn't become a song-and-dance man, but before Hall became best known as the serial-killer-with-a-heart-of-gold (well, maybe tarnished silver), he starred in musicals like Cabaret and Chicago. While the deal isn't set in stone, it looks like it is pretty much a lock. And what is the production that claimed him?

Big Fish. Yes, Tim Burton's quiet, underrated 2003 flick about a dying man (played by Albert Finney and Ewan McGregor) sharing larger-than-life tales with his son. Film producers Bruce Cohen and Dan Jinks return to produce a book by John August. Susan Stroman directs, while Andrew Lippa writes the music. Apparently the role was originally meant for Hugh Jackman, but it didn't work out due to scheduling conflicts. According to Deadline.com, "it is expected to be quite the stage event." Let's hope it's not like a Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark stage event.
