ABC Gets 'Haunted'
The fall season hasn't officially hit airwaves yet, but ABC is already touting recent acquisitions. The one that caught my eye was Haunted, a pitch from Cory Goodman (Priest, Apollo 18) with Jon Turteltaub (National Treasure) attached to direct, and Adam Goldworm (Masters of Horror) producing. So it has a fairly strong genre pedigree - but what is it all about?
According to Deadline.com, Haunted is "a supernatural character procedural that follows Jessica Garrity, a paranormal investigator who each week helps the living move on from a spirit that can't let go." So... it's The Ghost Whisperer in reverse? Haunted is still just a pitch; not even a full script, so if this does go to pilot, it will be awhile.
