In the tradition of movies where robots turn on their creators like Chopping Mall and My Deadly Friend comes Evolver, a sci-fi tale of a virtual reality video game come to life with deadly results. Hop into the way back machine and travel back to the dawn of man, as seen through the eyes of 1970's b-movie drive-in cinema, with Creatures the World Forgot. Brought to you by the cult UK movie company Hammer films (makers of other "period" pieces One Million Years B.C. and When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth. What this movie lacks in prehistoric monsters it makes up for in cavemen battling each other for the prize of sexy, scantily clad cave girls.
And lastly, Crimson Rivers is a French crime / suspense thriller that deals with a creepy monastery, a modern-day Jesus complete with disciples, and a treasure beyond compare. Two detectives are on the case, which takes them deep into the ruined tunnels of the Maginot Line, the real-life defensive fortification which completely failed to keep Hitler's armies from invading France. With its own fair share of mutilated bodies, religious mystery, intrigue, and action, Crimson Rivers delivers a horrific thrill ride.
