Rodriguez Digs His 'Grave'

Rodriguez is digging his way right in to the upcoming horror film Open Grave!However, memory is key and I?m afriad he?s lost his! According to,Nala Films has signed Eduardo Rodriguez to helm the horror-thriller Open Grave for a summer start. Emilio Diez Barroso and Darlene Caamano Loquet of Nala Films are producing along with Jon Shestack and Jeremy Stein of Jon Shestack Prods.

Script, penned by Eddie and Chris Borey, centers on man who awakens in a pit full of dead bodies with no memory of who he is or how he got there. Rescued by a group of fellow amnesiacs, he must determine who among them may be the killer.

Rodriguez directed the short film Daughter at Florida State U., leading to his assignment to helm Curandero for Dimension and Robert Rodriguez, who wrote and produced. He's also attached to Fox's Dread, with Clive Barker producing.

Shestack recently completed the upcoming Dan in Real Life with Steve Carell for Touchstone. Nala recently wrapped Paul Haggis' In the Valley of Elah and will be premiering The Air I Breathe at the Tribeca Film Festival later this month.
