Saw IV Casting News!

The Saw series is slicing its way through the competition with another sequel and this time they claim it?s going to be more ?fucked up? and more ?psychological!? In Addition, director Darren Lynn Bousman has some more casting news for us.

"Yes Lyriq Bent is in fact returning... He is a great actor - and am very excited to be working with him yet again - on part IV. The story is much darker - more fucked up - and much more psychological! Oh yeah and there is some blood too!"
Casting is starting to trickle in for SAW IV. The other day we told you that Scott Patterson had joined the cast, and now we can tell you that 3 different sources close to the production have told us that Lyriq Bent will return for this fourth go-round of the franchise. Not only that, we also heard that the film itself is actually CENTERED around his character of "Rigg."
That's all we know about the plot for now, but as the production date looms (April 16), I'm sure the info will begin to pour in.
While not at all perfect, I like that the SAW movies keep bringing back characters, creating some kind of continuity. Most sequels in franchises such as this will only have a tenuous relationship with the others. The Jigsaw character certainly keeps tabs on people.
