Hollywood seems to have really run dry of all their creative ideas and now they are on track to remake every single classic in history! When are the studios going to stop digging in the back of their closets for dirty laundry? It pleases me to annonce the most recent addition to the remake assembly line. Nu Image is set to ?re-imagine? Roger Spottiswoode?s 1980 slasher classic ?Terror Train.?
According to hollywoodreporter.com, writer-director Gideon Raff (The Killing Floor) is set to write and director the remake, which Nu Image co-chairman Avi Lerner and Danny Dimbort announced Tuesday.
The film will revolve around a group of American college athletes who find themselves on a dangerous train in Europe. The film, to be produced by Boaz Davidson, Danny Lerner and Les Weldon, will shoot in the summer in Bulgaria.
The deal was negotiated by attorney Greg S. Bernstein on behalf of Raff and Lonnie Ramati on behalf of Nu Image.
