The Boys over at Latino Review got the latest scoop on some casting news for the upcoming horror remake Death Race 3000. The film, a Roger Corman cult classic, is being directed by Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil: Extinction) and stars Jason Statham, Lawrence Fishburne, and Dijimon Hounsou. Death Race 3000 is set in the year 2020 during an ?ultraviloent? car race.
According to Latinreview.com, Death Race 3000 is a remake of Roger Corman's cult classic being made by Universal Pictures. The film takes place in the year 2020, a series of race car drivers compete in an ultraviolent race using heavily armed cars.
