Tobin Bell, otherwise know as Jigsaw from the Saw series, has recently signed on to executive produce and play the devil in Highway 61. Written and directed by Luke and Jermey Jackson and starring Nick Tune (License to Wed), Highway 61, centers on a struggling rock group whose manager arranges a meeting with the Devil at the Crossroads.
According to variety.com, Tobin Bell, best known for portraying Jigsaw in the Saw films, has signed to play the Devil in and exec produce Highway 61 for British financier Halcyon Pictures and Utah-based Prankster Film Co.
Filming has begun, with shooting set for Idaho, Utah and Los Angeles.
The Jacksons previously wrote Rigby Hall for Fox. They're also attached to InterMedia's Heavy Metal Thunder.
