I don?t know how you all feel, but I get kinda excited when a new horror film comes out that is based on a novel. Usually films based on something that has already been written are pretty well made. It?s definitely a stray from the usual unoriginal, badly made remake or sequel. According to Variety, producer Elliot Kastner acquired a John Katzenbach novel, The Madman?s Tale. Get this, ?the story revolves around an alleged rapist who takes refuge among the inmates of an insane asylum.? Sick!
