The Abandoned -- The final "After Dark" title to hit home video is Nacho Cerda's quiet and deliberately paced ghost story, "The Abandoned." Several of my colleagues appreciated the gloomy tone and the "slow burn" delivery. Me, I was halfway asleep by the middle of Act II. (Lionsgate)

Bachelor Party Massacre -- Do I even need to give you a plot synopsis on this one? It's like "Snakes on a Plane," really. Everything's right there in the title. OK, except this: The director's name is Schumacker Halpern Overdrive. (Trinity)

Bigfoot -- Because you can't have too many movies about Bigfoot. (Leo)

Deadtime Stories -- Now here's a goofy little 1987 horror anthology that you've probably never seen. It's not exactly high art, but if you've always wanted to see Goldilocks or Red Riding Hood told with a decidedly campy (and gory) slant, here's your next rental. (Image)

Fire Serpent -- Xander from "Buffy" stars in this movie about a fire monster who leaps out of the sun and kills a whole bunch of people. I just love the title. (Lionsgate)

Prison of the Pyschotic Damned -- Another awesome title! With "Prison of the Psychotic Damned," you know just what you're getting. In this case, a bunch of psychics who (stupidly) decide to hold a seance in an abandoned looney bin. You do the math. (Loose Cannon)

The Tomb -- The good news: It's based on a story by H.P. Lovecraft. The bad news: It's directed by Ulli Lommel. IMDb that name and tell me he's better than Uwe Boll. (Lionsgate)

Coming next week: Mutated cows, possessed puppets, and the rise of Leslie Vernon!
